Visiting Students: VSLO Placement Deadlines

These placement deadlines are based on the registration schedule for our VP&S students.

All approved applicants must be scheduled in VSLO by the due date listed below. Remember to check VSLO after approving an applicant to see if they accept or deny the offer. You may not want to deny applicants on VSLO who remain on your internal waitlist until an offer has been accepted.


  • Students have 7 days to accept an offer in VSLO. Keep an internal waitlist and plan for multiple rounds of offers before the LAST DAY to schedule.
  • Schedule or Deny directly in VSLO or submit your list of students to accept (including your internal waitlist) via the Elective Update Request Form.
  • There will be open-registration pauses for VP&S students in March and May (VP&S students should submit a UserVoice ticket for help with registration).
Please note: Curricular Affairs will approve and notify students on a weekly basis, typically on Mondays. Students who have accepted offers will be imported from VSLO to OASIS on a weekly basis as well.
