Do M1 students need to complete Infection Control Training?

Yes. All M1 students must complete the Infection Control Training for Medical Students module in RASCAL (Course TC7900). Be sure to press Submit at the end to receive your certificate.

The module can be accessed using this link. 

The module supports the Medical Education Program Objective 6.2: contributing to systems thinking, safety, and continuous quality improvement. Completion ensures you are prepared to protect both yourself and your patients in the clinical setting.

Requirements:

  • Completion of this training is mandatory for all M1 students.
  • You must press “Submit” at the end of the module to attest to completion.
  • A certificate of completion will be generated after submission.
