Process to Waive SPP

If you plan to waive SPP, either because you completed a 12 month research year or a dual degree, please let the Office of Student Research (studentresearchatps@cumc.columbia.edu) know by August 15, so that we can update your record accordingly.

Please note that students who waive SPP are required to complete 11 electives instead of 7 (up to 3 research electives may count toward this requirement) in place of the SPP requirement.
