Away Electives: Letters of Good Standing

The Office of Student Affairs generates Letters of Good Standing (LOGS) to students. If you need a LOGS for an away elective, please submit a UserVoice ticket. Please allow between 3-5 business days for processing. You will be notified when your letter is ready for pick up from the office (Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM).

In your ticket, please include the following information:
  • Institution where the elective will take place
  • Mailing address for the institution or person of contact
  • The dates you intend to participate
  • The elective
  • Any relevant information that is not included in the standard LOGS
By default, Letters of Good Standing verify the following information:
  • Your class year
  • That you have passed Step 1 OR you are still waiting for your score to be reported
  • That you are OSHA, HIPAA and Respiratory Mask compliant
  • That you are in good standing
  • That you are covered by the University's liability and malpractice insurance ($2 million per occurrence, $5 million aggregate) here at home and abroad for the duration of the elective
  • That you are covered by health insurance
