Away Electives: Transcripts and Letters of Recommendation

Follow the below steps to request upload of transcripts and letters of recommendation to VSLO.

Transcripts

Online:  To request and submit your transcript:

  1. Request a transcript following the instructions found here. 
  2. Send the transcript file to yourself and download it.
  3. Submit your transcript by opening a ticket via UserVoice and attaching the transcript as a PDF. Ensure the file name matches exactly how you would like it to appear in VSLO.
  4. Once received, we will upload the transcript to your VSLO profile.

Please note:
  • Only you can request your transcript—requests cannot be made on your behalf.
  • Unofficial transcripts will not be accepted.
  • Allow up to one business week for your transcript to be uploaded after submission.

Letters of Recommendation

Letter writers may email a PDF copy of their LOR(s) to pselectives@cumc.columbia.edu. Allow one business week from receipt of LOR for upload to be processed. 

All other documents are the responsibility of the student and cannot be uploaded on your behalf (immunizations, CVs, etc.).
