Registration: Overview

How scheduling and registration works:

  • Duration: D&I courses typically run from the first to the last of the month, with the exception of 2-week electives (new).
  • Availability: Not all electives are available every month. Check the OASIS course catalog for availability.
  • Waitlist Electives: Some electives are waitlist courses; you will need to add yourself to the course waitlist and follow the course waitlist instructions in OASIS.
  • Rank Scheduling: Elective registration begins with rank scheduling in OASIS for non-waitlist electives. There are four rank scheduling series, held in January, April, July, and October. The first series in January is made up of four stages, first for March electives, then April, May, and June. See below and also Registration Schedule for more details.
  • Open add/drop: Once rank scheduling is complete for a given month, you will be able to add yourself to and drop yourself from courses and waitlists for that month.
  • Late add/drop: You will no longer be able to add or remove yourself from electives in OASIS during late add/drop, which begins 28 days before the start of an elective.
  • Make sure to check your schedule regularly for schedule gaps, missing evaluations and grades, and to make sure you are fulfilling the graduation requirements. Your registration information will be updated in SSOL periodically; transcripts can be viewed in Vergil.
Curricular Affairs coordinates four (4) rank scheduling series throughout D&I:

  • April : Series #2: July, August, September, October electives
