General Info: Graduation Requirements

The D&I phase of the curriculum is 14 months beginning Year 3 March - Year 4 April for MD track students, and includes the following requirements:
  • Board Prep (4 weeks; typically Year 3 March)
  • Electives (20 weeks)
    • Clinical: 12 weeks must be clinical
    • Home: 12 weeks must be at CUIMC or affiliate
    • Final Term Clinical Elective (4 weeks; Year 4 Jan - Apr)
  • Core Sub-I (4 weeks)
  • Scholarly Projects (16 weeks)
  • Interviews (4 - 8 weeks; Nov-Jan)
  • Ready4Residency (4 weeks; Year 4 March or April)
